Bell work week 16 #4 put the animal phylums in order from least complex to most complex (include chordates) -I checked over your lab procedures, and you had time to go over the corrections that needed to be made. -Also caught up on any missing work. |
May 25:
-Worked on lab assignment for one block. Must get approval from me by May 31st. The lab will be June 1st. -were given notes on arthropoda and echinoderms |

Spring Break
Using your course outline as reference I want you to pick one unit we are looking at in the course. Classification, Evolution, Viruses/Bacteria, any of the 6 kingdoms. Then at some time throughout spring break while you are out and about I want you to take a picture of something relating to that topic. You are going to show your classmates first day back what you did over spring break that relates to biology. Have a great Spring Break!!! |

We went through an activity where you all were paleontologist and you were trying to figure out from different bones, what animal you had discovered. -Introduced the idea of evolution and watched a short video on the evolution of earth, and how humans are just a tiny part of that history. -For Monday please finish your DNA mutation sheet. |

Since I only see you Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (writing your test), I will only be giving you two bell work questions this week with no quiz. The two questions from this week will carry over to next weeks quiz. Bell Work Week 3 #1 What are the base pairings? (write full names) and which 2 bases are Purines and which 2 are Pyrimidines? -Go over work sheet on DNA -Snorks- DNA Alien assignment. (under assignment page) You got today to work on it in class, then it is due Wednesday. If you were not in class for the lesson you may have to look up how to use a codon chart. |
